Seder Dinner

I know it's a little late to be posting this, but I just have to say that I love Niel Pitchell. He's the nicest man alive and Adam and I both appreciate it whenever he speaks. He's so genuine and so passionate about the Lord, he's inspiring and infectious!

Adam and I loved the service last Sunday. We both drank in the symbolism and the rich heritage of the jewish seder dinner. It was inspiring enough to get us planning our own, more intimate seder dinner next year! Although, I've only had lamb once... and I don't remember if I liked it or not. :)

The service certainly set the mood and has made us meditate on the sacrifice that was made on our behalf. Praise the Lord for setting aside His throne, to humble Himself to the point of servanthood, die the most terrible death imaginable, and then be raised the third day - and now His blood covers our sin and allows us to approach His throne of grace with boldness. What a mighty, loving, and sovereign God we serve!!

What a great post, Jenn! I, too, look forward to the Sedar dinner at church every year. We are so blessed to have Neil's wisdom at our church!

I have always thought it would be cool to do a Sedar Dinner. Maybe not the tastiest meal, but very meaningful!
